What's the difference between the Ink Bold & Ink Plus cards?
Ink Bold is no longer available. It was a charge card (pay balance in full each month), but it has been discontinued and many accounts were converted to Ink Plus cards with the same account numbers.
Ink Plus is a revolving credit card. It allows you to earn and redeem Chase Ultimate Rewards points (including transfering UR points to air/hotel/rail partners).

Are there special earning categories?Yes. You earn 5 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at office supply stores, and on cellular phone, landline, internet, and cable TV services. (Sirius XM Radio also qualifies.)
In addition, you earn 2 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at gas stations and for hotel accommodations when purchased directly from the hotel.
NOT ALL Ink cards earn the 5x and 2x bonus categories above. Not "Old Ink Bold" that earns 7,500 bonus points for $25,000 spend, 15,000 points for $50,000, and 25,000 points for $100,000 spend.

What are the rules for transferring UR points to other users or to my own air/hotel/rail accounts?
See the separate discussions in
Closing Ink Plus cardsIt is possible to pay the annual fee for the Chase Ink Plus business card, then close the account and get a refund of the fee up to 6 months after it was charged. This provides a total of 18 months of earning up to 5X points for free. Make sure your points are transferred out (either to another UR account owned by you or a spouse, or to an air/hotel partner) before you close the account.

I applied for the Ink+ back in March, got approved for 50k/$5k, then called in for a better offer. CSR told me he could put me down for 70k, and to call in and ask them to escalate it once I met minimum spend. I did that, and only ended up getting 10k instead of 20k. Called back, they told me that since the $95 AF is waived the first year and the 10k points are worth $100, I didn't get those last 10k points. I said that the 10k points are worth much more than $100 to me. CSR escalated again, and I got the 10k points. Got a postcard the other day saying that they added the 10k points and waived the AF "for any miscommunication" etc etc. I'm a happy camper .

No 70k for now, but there's a public 60k offer.

Ink cash is currently offered at 30k at the same link.

No they won't. Here's the message I just got from them:
"Thank you for contacting Chase about the 60,000 enrollment
bonus.
Let me share that your account will earn the enrollment
bonus that is available at the time of application. As
per the bonus on your account, you will earn:
- 50,000 bonus point after spend of $5,000.00 on purchases
in the first 90 days from the account open date and the
annual fee waiver for the first year.
The new offer that is available online is as follows:
- 60,000 bonus point after spend of $5,000.00 on purchases
in the first 90 days from the account open date and no
annual fee in the first year.
I am sorry but we are unable to match the 60,000
enrollment bonus offer as it does not have an annual fee
waiver for the first year.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter. If you
need any other assistance, you can send us a secure
message. We appreciate your business and thank you for
choosing Chase."
But this doesn't make sense because the annual fee is waived for both offers. Confused. Do I write Chase back and ask them to explain?

Some time back Chase was being difficult in approving their own cards if you had opened X (maybe 6 ?) total new cards with any combination of banks in the past 12 months. Getting co-branded cards like United or Marriott was no problem. Does that condition still exist? Are they still controlling the issuance of their own cards to churners? Anyone have recent experience with this?

1. Does anyone have any recent experience with opening cards with other banks in X amount of time and getting denied for an Ink business card?
2. More specifically, does anyone have any experience opening a Chase Sapphire card (and getting approved) and how long they need to wait to open a Chase Ink Business card?
I made the mistake of applying for a Chase Sapphire and Chase Ink Business on the same day and was denied the Business because I applied and was approved for the Sapphire card in the same day.

I inquired about getting my award bumped from 50k to 60k via SM. I signed up 2 weeks ago for the Ink Plus. Here is the response I got... I had better luck.
"Thank you for contacting Chase with your recent inquiry
regarding the 60,000 bonus cash back offer.
I am pleased to inform you that we will be adding an
additional 10,000 bonus points as long as you meet the
eligibility requirement of spending $5000.00 on purchases
within the first 3 months from account opening. Once you
meet the $5,000 spend threshold, I request you to please
reply to this email via the secure message center or call
us at the customer service number listed below within the
first 3 months from account opening and we will add 10,000
reward points to your account."

I signed up for the 50k without the fee. The message I got back saying they'd match the 60k bonus mentioned nothing about the fee for the 60k offer.
so i'm going to cross my fingers that i wont be paying a fee. if they do hit me with it, i'll complain
