PayPal Digital Gifts & Chase Ink 5x?

I've seen many posts talking about how PayPal Digital Gifts vendor on eBay posts under Chase Inks 'Office Store' category leading to 5x points per dollar. Anyone know if this is still the case? I've seen conflicting reports lately - can anyone verify?

try it with a small transaction and report back
i've heard that it does but can't personally verify

I bought two different $200 eBay gift cards through PayPal Digital Gifts using my ink last week and both are showing as Utilities and 5x points.

First of all it works and is confirmed, second of all, you can add your ink to your account and use it as your main payment method earning 5x.
No one knows why it codes as office for 5x. It just does.

yes. make sure your paypal balance is $0.

Thanks! It worked, showed up as "Utility" and got 5x UR.

It works because PPDG calls their business category "Office Supplies" which Ink or Amex Simply Cash recognizes for 5x & 5%.
