Using Freedom CB at Kohls for Lowes GC for other GC in Q4
 

Kohl's earns the 5% CB on Freedom in Q4.

I was looking at Gift cards Kohls sells for other merchants last night (last year I bought GC's for Olive Garden and B&N for Christmas gifts to get the 5%).

I see Kohl's now carries lowe's gift cards. Lowe's sells a lot of different gift cards that Kohl's doesn't for places I shop at.

Does anyone here know if I can use a lowe's gift card to buy other gift cards or can I only use it for Merchandise? I was thinking of buying $1,000 in Lowe's gift cards at Kohl's but don't want to do it if I find out I can only use the card on Lowe's Merchandise (and lowe's gives 5% back anyone on purchases with their card).

There is a fairly recent DD post saying you can't do this, so unless things have changed I believe the answer is no.
