Once I meet the spending requirement, how soon will I receive my bonus points?Bonus points typically accrue at the close of the billing period in which you incur the corresponding charges. Points should appear in your United account within a day or two thereafter.
NOTE: If you complete your required spending within 7-10 days of your statement close, the bonus may not post until the following month's statement, even if the regular per-dollar points post on the first statement. This is normal behavior for Chase and is not worth a phone call.

So I see this card is back to 50K bonus after $3K spend.
Anybody confirm that it's not 5/24 restricted and any DP's of non-business approvals lately? Seems like the better of the two Explorer cards to carry given the extra 2x categories.

I was wondering the same thing, is this subject to 5/24? I couldn't find a hint in the wiki.

This card is subject to 5/24. Here are the cards that are not subject to 5/24:
- IHG Rewards Club Select
- The Hyatt credit card
- British Airways Visa
- Disney Rewards Visa
- Ritz-Carlton Rewards
- Marriott Rewards Premier Business
Also since they are different product types (Personal & Business) you should be able to collect the bonus on both If I read correctly with no 24-month cap.

Thanks! I was seeing reports going years back that it was not 5/25, and more recently that it IS a 5/24 card. Oh well, so I'll wait, but still seems to be the BETTER MP Explorer option.

Calendar Year Bonus Miles
As a one-time bonus each calendar year, once you reach $25,000 in purchases you will receive 10,000 bonus miles. Purchases are when you, or an authorized user, use a card to make purchases of products and services, minus returns or refunds. Buying products and services with your card, in most cases, will count as a purchase; however, the following types of transactions won't count and won't earn bonus miles: balance transfers, cash advances, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable. Purchases you make with other United credit cards prior to becoming an Explorer Cardmember will not count towards the $25,000 requirement. "Calendar year" means January 1 through December 31 of that same year. For your first year as an Explorer Cardmember, calendar year means the period beginning with your enrollment date through December 31 of that same year. Therefore, you will have from your account open date through December 31 to earn the one-time bonus in your first year. Please allow up to 6 weeks after the billing cycle in which you qualify for bonus miles to post to your MileagePlus account.

So, it looks like Authorized Users aren't require to enter their SSN during the application process. Does that mean the 5/24 doesn't reflect on the AU?

There are no AU cardholders on business accounts, they are Employee cards.
Chase and the credit bureaus can figure out who we are without a Social Security Number. Holding an AU card on an account does not disqualify a person from applying for the same card in their own name. Holding an AU card should not increase your 5/24 count, but if it does you can ask Chase to disregard the AU cards.
