776 Credit score Chase turned down
 

I got a Chase Ink for my business 3 months ago... I charge 20K a month and pay it As soon as I get it... Also have 3 other cc's with about another 30K a month I charge..and pay it right away........Checked last week on my credit score 776.........Pretty good I think.............So I apply for the other Chase Biz card that you can charge and pay payments......Get a letter from Chase saying I have too many credit card inquiry's and too much avail credit ...........By the way I have 150K in my company checking acct with ,,,You guessed it CHASE......... What gives here.............

Will Chase let you move some credit from your other Chase card to this new card?

call the reconsideration line and see if you can close one of the accounts you do not use or move credit from one to another

I would still call as Chase said too many inquires and too much credit. It wont hurt to call

Is that a FAKO score or FICO score? How many inquires? Card issuers are required to list 4 things on why they denied you credit. It might also be a case of Chase wanting more history from your business before it extends you more credit. Call and see what's going on.

Longhorn11 has a good point, and you do need to call.

The to many inquiries are a problem. But the credit can be moved from other cards so it's worth a call. Many people in the Chase threads talk about moving credit for this denial. Chase CSR's are usually pretty resonable so give it a try.

I've had similar issues with Chase. Credit score over 790, charge about $1 million per year on my cards and pay them off in full every month. I've been turned down twice for the Marriott business card. No problem adding the Ink Bold and the United Club card which is now my primary card but for some reason they won't give me a Marriott business card. By the way if you charge over $20k a month and fly United, get the Club card.

Getting turned down by Chase is a daily occurrence here on FT. Call the bus. reconsideration line & tell them you need the ability to make monthly payments & I bet they'll approve you.

many many people have to call recon. line.

I have not churned cards (yet) but read quite a bit here and other forums.

It appears to be better to move a credit line or partial credit line than to keep the denial. Most def. seems worth the call.

Just called Reconsideration Line and got approved within 5 minutes............FYI......................Thanks for the help everyone

It's been pointed out to you that your posts with "......." everywhere are hard to read. Yet you ignored that and put your reply (post 14) in the same format. (The only reason it wasn't as hard to read as your first post was because it was short.) I presume that person was reacting to that.

Typically "......." is used as seperators only in contexts that don't support blank lines between paragraphs. FlyerTalk supports blank lines (and much other formatting), so we don't see the point of using "......." as separators on FlyerTalk.
