Hoping someone could clear up some confusion that I'm having. I've read conflicting posts from people about transactions needing to be made in 2014 and transactions needing to post on or before 12/31/2014 in order to receive the reimbursement.
So which one is it? I had a transaction made on 12/31/2014 but it didn't post until 1/1/15. Will the reimbursement be for calendar year 2014 or 2015? Again, there's been conflicting information over the last dozen or so pages.
Thanks in advance.

They go by transaction date so you should be able to get the credit for 2014. I had the same situation as you and I just got credit for 2014 this morning.

Data point - received my card and Wife's card on 12/30, bought $100 SW ECG on each card. Sent SM to Chase today and they acknowledged $100 credit will be issued. Both ECG were 5620.... code type. So YMMV.

My AF already posted Jan 1 (just got the card Dec 24). What's all this talk of it taking a month?

Oh I totally missed where that guy said it was a single $300 gift card. My bad. Duh. #badidea

Hiw do they know 300 is a gift card but not 100? Either one could just be a seat upgrade unless they are getting granular data

The point is that $300 is rarer than $100, or less, for incidental fees. Rarer things increase your potential for someone to ask questions or dig.

Has anyone gotten an AA fee reimbursed yet in 2015?
