I have no idea.
I used the link from above: https://www.theritzcarltonrewardscard.com/offer140k
Unless the CSR was lying to me... But I did explicitly confirm with her that it was 140k pts and not 2-night stays. I suppose I won't know for sure until I actually get the bonus.
The screenshot I took of that page, and the application page itself, show the following params in the URL:
CELL=6MBQ
PROMO=DF01
SPID=FBCY
Those are the same as what's up right now if you hit that link, so they haven't changed.

I wasn't sure what CELL and SPID mean...

I would suggest everybody to get a reassurance of the enrollment bonus is indeed the 140k offer by sending a secure message instead of calling, the customer service forks is giving out conflict information but the secure message people seems to know better.

Yep, I did that as well, waiting on a response so I have something in writing.

I called last night, got confirmation of the 140k offer and finally, after several requests for peace of mind during the spend, got a written confirmation (names removed by me):

Subject: Bonus Offer
Hello Mr. ,
I am confirming that we will honor the 140,000 bonus points offer after spending $3,000 within the first 3 months. You will want to reach that spend before the bonus is applied to the account. This is to substitute the offer currently standing on the account for 2 complimentary nights at tied 1-4 hotels. The amount spent will not include the annual fee being billed to the account. Please give us a call after the spend is met so that we can then confirm with out marketing team the offer you are requesting.
If you have any other questions, feel free to give us a call.
Thank You.

So calling can actually work, as well.

you are warned
Southwest transaction is no longer working since today.
I have been turned after several tries, phone & SM. All small charges
Yesterday was still working for my other account.

I signed up for the Ritz-Carlton promotion with 140k points. I charged $150 for Southwest eGift Card on 23rd and 2 x $75 charges for Southwest eGift cards on the 25th. All were posted by the 29th. I called the morning of the 29th to request credits for all charges. The rep was great. No questions. All credits posted today - one $150, two for $75. The rep confirmed another $300 total is available 1.1.15.

Does the reimbursed airline expense count toward the $3,000 minimum spending req?
