I've been wondering that as well, but I just called to get some charges reimbursed and the agent told me the credit would post in 1-2 statements as "statement credit". Since the original charge doesn't go away I'm inclined to think it will still count towards the minimum spend. That's just speculation though.

[...] people, quit being ridiculous and go buy another gift card to pad your account and get you comfortably over the spending limit.

Just FYI for those wondering about airline GCs being reimbursed... I had no problem getting delta e-gift certs purchased online reimbursed.

FYI - Wiki updated with $300 travel credit details from the cards website & a list that all can edit for reimbursements that worked & one's that didn't. Similar to the Barclay Arrival travel reimbursement page. Light it up and help the community!

I'm hoping Southwest pet ticket fees ($95 each way) are reimbursable and based on that call my guess is they are. Won't find out until December.

I have had two lounge clubs, $50 each, reimbursed this year. I've also had a few miscellaneous airline charges reimbursed as well. Only one time, for a very small food charge, was I actually asked what the charge was for.

Regarding the Lounge Club benefit, how many guests can you bring into the Lounge for free? According to the welcome letter, it sounds like you can bring in as many as you want "you and your accompanying guests" and you can go as often as you wish during the membership year. Any insights? I don't want to come back and get a huge bill for it. Thanks!
