Chase Freedom redemption option?
Where is the most value?
Statement credit, GC or Air tkt? I called them travel center. They said pts get converted in to cash. Depending on domestic or international, you get different amount of cash. Does this mean, Statement credit is far better deal? ie most value? |

The best value is actually to save them until you apply (and are approved) for either a Chase Sapphire Preferred or an Ink Bold card, after which you will be able to transfer the Chase Ultimate Rewards Points (including the points from your Freedom card) to United, Hyatt, BA, etc.
If that's not feasible, I think Chase has gift card sales every once in a while where you can get better than 1 cent / point. Those two cards have annual fee after the first yr! |

Does anyone know if you have lets say10,000 ur points from freedom card and dont have ink or SP can you transfer the points to another person? I understand cannot transfer to partners but can you transfer to people or you have to just cash them out? Thanks

UR mall site has an option to "combine points" - it has an option for "others" where you can put the credit card # (Other Chase Ultimate Rewards Card) and name of the other person that you want to transfer to.
I have not tried this personally but this might be an option. I think this might work. Edit - Here is one option that might be considered http://millionmilesecrets.com/2011/0...-reward-points

Hi everyone,
I'm a little confused by how this works. Freedom is a cash back card- but it sounds like I can transfer points to my Sapphire UR total? I haven't been able to figure it out through their site. Thanks. |

Got it, thanks. I'd been reading around here about the benefits of two Chase accounts but didn't quite get it. That's pretty cool!

So this way you can transfer URs to my or my spouses United Mileageplus as long as that account has a CC associated with it?
Can I also transfer to Marriott Rewards as long as I have a Marriott CC? |
