Bonus Avios from BA Visa - can't figure out why I'm getting them!
 

For the past two months, I've gotten a large number of bonus Avios on my British Airways Visa. I'm obviously not complaining, but I have no clue why these keep showing up, and if I knew what I was doing to get them, I'd do it more often! I'm reluctant to call and ask in case it's a mistake of some sort.

The details:

Finance Card - BA VISA NON BA SPEND - 2481
Finance Card - BA VISA BONUS AVIOS - 5099

Dec 13
Finance Card - BA VISA AVIOS - 140
Finance Card - BA VISA NON BA SPEND - 4232
Finance Card - BA VISA BONUS AVIOS - 4901


The only thing that's interesting is that the total number of bonus miles over the two months is an even 10,000 (5099+ 4901). But other than that I can't find any reason for it! I've tried searching

You overlooked a postcard which offered double points on non-BA purchases for a period of time, probably December - February. Offer is targeted, applies to specific accounts at different times, no registration required. The offer is capped at 10,000 bonus points. You're done.
