question re Chase Ink application
one of my many companies received an application in the mail for the Chase Business ink cards with a 40,000 point sign up offer. I noticed that they also want on the application my SSN etc.
I recently received the Sapphire Preferred with the 50k signup bonus. I have met the $3000 spending before the first bill. My questions are: 1) Do the 40k Points (they don't say Ultimate Reward Points on the application) go to my personal UR account? 2) On a little pamphlet in the application it says "treat yourself to something special- Ultimate Rewards makes it possible" - are these the same as my personal UR points that I can transfer to Marriott/Hyatt/Continental etc? 3) Does this application pull anything on my personal credit report? 4) Is there a better offer for Chase ink? I like that this has no annual fee. I would call and ask Chase, but I feel that I would get a better, more accurate response here. Thanks in advance!! |

My questions are: 1) Do the 40k Points (they don't say Ultimate Reward Points on the application) go to my personal UR account? No, it will go to a separate UR account, but you can easily/instantly transfer between it and your personal if you want. 2) On a little pamphlet in the application it says "treat yourself to something special- Ultimate Rewards makes it possible" - are these the same as my personal UR points that I can transfer to Marriott/Hyatt/Continental etc? Yes, see above 3) Does this application pull anything on my personal credit report? Yes, it will pull from your personal SSN/credit report, you cannot get around this. 4) Is there a better offer for Chase ink? I like that this has no annual fee. Yes, check around, 50K is currently available but for a higher spend. Likely, you might have the 40K for first purchase which is a priority is up to you. I would call and ask Chase, but I feel that I would get a better, more accurate response here. Thanks in advance!! |
So now I have to see about a 50k offer and check the spend requirements and then consider if I want 50k more UR Points or should I go for the United card with a 50k signup and bonus 10k if I spend $25k. I can probably do the spend, but then I would be neglecting my Amex Plat and SPG cards.
I imagine that since they're both Chase and since I got the Sapphire Pref. card that I can only apply so many times for Chase cards within a month? Or can you, but it would hurt your credit? Thanks! |

Multiple chase apps in a short period will result in more work on your end. Spend some time reading the Chase Ink card posts and app process. Good luck |
Thanks so much!

I received the same offer (third time now). I don't have Sapphire Preferred card. Can I get the points from this card, and then apply for Sapphire card to get UR points, and then combined them?
