Has anyone applied for the Freedom card (30k bonus) that already have the Freedom card already?
I have the Freedom card for about 3-4 years already but originally foolishly applied years when there were no bonus offers with the Freedom card. Wondering if I could apply for the card again and get the bonus offer?

Is there still a Chase checking deal that gives $200 sign up bonus? Is this done online or can I walk into any Chase branch and get this offer? Thanks

Yes but it might be by invitation only? But you can try this, it says you can just print it. Only had the Freedom card 2 months. Good luck

Can I apply for the freedom TODAY
Then apply for the Saphire 6 months from now.

And then, transfer the freedom bonus to the saphire for US miles?

Or must I do it in the reverse order?

You could have had the Freedom card for any amount of time. When you get the CSP you can transfer any points on the Freedom card. I've had the Freedom card for a while building points. If the CSP card has a really special bonus I'll get it and then transfer my Freedom points.

. . . Except for the fact that UR points do not transfer to US.

Just tried to call this morning to sign up but the telephone # and deal is dead. Got a recording stating to go to Chase cards online instead.
Bummer. Wonder if there is any other numbers I could call to get this?

They seem to have cycled out a few offers today.

Called to activate my Freedom card. Rep confirmed the 30k bonus.

Called next day to inquire about whether my card was active in the 10 by 10 program. The CSR on the phone told me I need to go into a branch to activate this feature - is that true?

No, not in my experience . Just have a Chase checking account, and the two will link without intervention from you the vast majority of the time. I did not go into a branch or talk to anyone.

What's the best current offer for this card? I'm definitely applying in the next 24 hours, but can only find the one on Chase.com for $100.

linking

I see a reference on it here, but was wondering how a checking account can be linked with a Freedom account without going into a branch.

Any insights would be very much appreciated.

It was an automatic process for me - I never did anything and the two linked.
