Bah! Been waiting for the Freedom to go back up to 30k, and here it is at 35k! Just not sure what I'd put on the app for employer, as I'm currently back in school and living off (substantial) savings. Have no problem whatsoever paying bills, but how to make it look favorable to a creditor is the challenging part.

I applied for the Freedom in December of 2011 under the $250 offer. Got bumped to the $300 offer a few weeks after by calling a rep.
I just called again to match the $350. She initially offered me 2500 points, but I asked for 5,000 and got it.

I applied for the 60K Ink Bold this morning and was instantly approved. Applied for this one just now, it went pending, and I called the reconsideration line. They told me I already have 4 Chase cards and won't give me any more credit, and I'm welcome to shift around some credit around to get it approved. I decided to close my BA card, since renewal is coming up on that card anyway.

Interesting, today we received 2 phone calls from Chase regarding our existing Freedom cards asking how we feel about the cards, whether these are our primary cards, etc etc. We have our Freedom cards for almost 5 years by now. One was actually from a conversion of a Marriott card and had never received any sign up bonus. If not for the current UA offer, I would be tempted to get another Freedom card with this bonus... but with several Chase cards already in possession, one has to choose wisely.
