Same way you opted out in the first place =) The FTC recommends optoutprescreen.com (where you can choose to Opt In as well) or by calling 1-888-5-OPTOUT.

Remember the old adage "No Free Lunch"

Read ALL the fine print

I read it several times. Can't see a thing that makes the $500 and $300 "not free". Is there something you know that I don't? YOur statement above "none of them will give out cold hard cash..." seems to be FALSE in this case.

Not Likely

Try to take the money & run

Then you will see what your obligations are

Instead of being so circular, could you kindly please tell me specifically what you know of the vicissitudes of signing up with Chase for the 30K and 50K rewards points, respectively. Thank you!!

Many Variations

Each of the many offers comes with it's own obligations

Many bonuses occur on anniversary dates after annual fees

Many bonuses have severe restrictions

You 1st talked about cash & now only points

Big difference

With all due respect Chic, I think you're showing a skepticism, not any facts. Sometimes things do work out surprisingly well. (I was as pleasantly surprised as anyone) The Chase Points convert instantly to cash, my 30K points were changed to a $300 deposit right into my checking account, and when I get the 50k points I will turn them into $500 just as quickly. There are no annual fees on either the Freedom nor Sapphire (regular) card. So basically these bonuses were to put the card in my hand, with no apparent drawback to me.

Please be specific if you have hands-on information, but in this case, there are no paybacks to these bonuses other than having another Visa card to use. (or not use)

Mine too.
You'd think if they have his name, email and FF# they would crosscheck with birthdate.

I once applied in his name just to see what would happen, but got turned down :(
