Here's instruction on how to get the offer (atleast working for me):

1. Go to marriot.com and log into your account.
2. Click on My Account (https://www.marriott.com/rewards/myAccount/default.mi)
3. On the left side, there should be a credit card offer (look like this http://prntscr.com/rppr0). Click on the credit card.
4. After clicking on it, it should take you to a landing page of 50K offer
https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/mar...emier/50p1ksh/
change the 50p1ksh to 70p1ksh or click on this link
https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/mar...emier/70p1ksh/
5. Then click on the big green APPLY NOW button. Make sure to take screenshot of the landing page for your record.

Good luck!

Using the step by step instructions from above. I was able to see the 70k offer and apply. However trying the same steps with my wife did not work right away. I tried multiple time and rebooted and tried several times again until the 70k offer finally came up and was able to apply.

Thanks for the step by step, hopefully when I get the cards it will be for the 70k.

You can always SM Chase and they will give you the 70K deal, I got my card under the 50K $75 credit offer a month or so back and they gave me the 70K $0 credit offer for asking

I also applied under the 50K points and $75 credit and was able to change to 70K points after SM to Chase (two days ago). Does anyone know how long it take for the 70K points to post after completing the spend and paying off the bill? Thanks!

this card is becoming pathetic now that marriott is increasing award categories across the board

Also makes the annual free night, on renewal, worth a lot less.

Yeah it already was inferior to the PCR annual free night that's good at any property - now I doubt I will keep the Marriott card.

This week, I received an e-mail with an offer for a 2nd free night (category 1-5), in addition to the regular free night upon renewal, if I spend $2,250 during the next 3 months. That makes keeping the card a little more enticing, even with the recent devaluation.

I tried using the link in post 1081 today but it keeps redirecting me to a 50K offer. This happens after pushing the apply now button. I decided to use the link posted on MMS blog. I will confirm the sign up bonus upon arrival of the card. (According to his post, that link will expire on 2/28)
