Costa Rica Advice - 5 nights in the Papagayo Region
Hi All,
My wife and I are heading down to Costa Rica from Tampa (we will be there visiting some friends) this January. We are planning on booking awards flights to get us there (and add an extra leg to Puerto Rico for later in the year). 0nly 30k off peak round trip...
Right now it looks like we will be renting a condo through FlipKey for the time we are there. It is right in the Coco Beach area. This is by far the cheapest option and we can eat some of our meals in. While the beach doesn't seem to be the best, it seems like there are plenty of bars/restaurants nearby and we can always take a bus a bit further north if we want some beach time. We are very active and we will be doing a lot of day trips (transportation provided).
Thoughts? Anything we shouldn't miss? Anything to be aware of?
