How Long for Isla Omtepe?

I am interested primarily in seeing the La Ceiba Museum (or possibly the archaeological museum in Altagracia) and some of the petroglyphs. I would probably stay in Altagracia, though Playa Santo Domingo is also appealing. Is two days / one night sufficient for that? Or even two days / two nights, i.e. with travel back to the mainland the next morning?

One option I am considering is taking the Sunday flight to the island and then going to Granada from there. How reliable are the flights?

I spent three nights there, which felt like a comfortable length of time--we visited the petroglyphs, hiked up Concepcion, and hung out on the beach some. Be aware that the ferries can be canceled/delayed due to weather conditions, and have some flexibility in your schedule. We had planned to arrive mid-afternoon but ended up landing in Moyogalpa well after sunset, so it was good we didn't have anything planned for our first day besides settling into our hotel.
