Talking Little Corn Island, Nicaragua

Would you recommend a trip to Little Corn island to "Get away from it all?" I's like to go at the end of December to beginning of January, and will be traveling by myself. Advice on flight times and decent hotels? Also, does anyone know a good travel agent to plan the details of my trip, or is it easy to do it myself? Thanks!

I'd recommend a trip to Little Corn Island, but not that time of year. December and early January are usually very rainy. Don't forget that Little Corn has no airport; you fly to Big Corn from Managua and take a panga (small boat) to the smaller island. It takes around an hour and the trip would be no fun in the rain.

Yemaya is the nicest hotel there.

Other accommodation is mostly pretty basic
