I wonder if you want a good dessert if it's worth ordering a cake for $300

Ha! If I want to pay for cake, I think I will be better off getting one from places like MO (or even Maxim's), no?
Actually here's a great revenue raising idea. CX should offer sparking wine in J with the option for passengers to purchase champagne.

I'm not sure if CX will help you serve a cake that you bring onboard yourself.

And only certain types of cake will get through security screening anyway.

There is now a Lady M boutique near the Wing which probably tops the QF salted caramel cheesecake as best dessert available at HKG

Is eating at Lady M better than Dining at the Y?

Btw, there was one true 'enhancement': bacon-flavoured nuts! I even asked for a second (on flight to HYD) and tossed it over salad. CX should offer a second serving (as option) to go with the salad.

I'm intrigued! What sort of cake is it for that price? And what sort of person orders it! I'm guessing it must be some sort of celebration cake, which makes me think they would offer to sell Champagne in Y if that was the case as an add on at least!

If I booked a cake, would that ruin my chances of an upgrade?
