AA Upgrade Classes on AM

Just wondering what classes are eligible for AM upgrade. Also do they allow both etix and paper tix?

Bumping this thread....anyone know the answer to this? I want to upgrade a N class economy ticket, and can't find anything on Asiamiles website about what fare classes are upgradeable. Can't even find details about which CX fare classes are upgradeable on asiamiles website (except for in the release about the Oct 15 changes).

I think I remember it in the initial announcement by AM about the change; You can only do roundtrip upgrades on AA using AM as far as I know, but the change is that you can only upgrade on YBH fares. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Only upgrade, it must be round-trip. For the new (on or after 15 Oct 2007) fare classes eligible for upgrade, the best is to call Asia Miles.

Checked with Marco Polo club and to upgrade from economy on AA or BA, you must be booked into Y B or H classes.
