20K asia miles expiring end of July
 

They were awarded about 3 years ago for reasons I don't recall, maybe some service disruption.. anyway, any recommendations on what to do with them besides letting them expire?

Thank you all. I checked asiamiles.com and it seemed like miles can be redeemed for gadgets at about 0.3-0.4 cent (USD) per mile (20K miles can be redeemed for something like $60-$80). Does that sound about right?

Charity donations are also available but seemed hard to value. I might go with that route.

I assume by your question that future flight redeptions are out of the question? For 20k you could do JFK-YYZ as an example.

That's correct. No chance I am flying before expiration.

You don't need to fly before expiration. You only need to redeem before expiration and you can book 353~360 days out (maybe only 330 days for AA, AS, LA, and GF). If a future guideline covers you and / or your flight gets cancelled, you can get the miles re-deposited with extended expiry to the next annual cycle.
