Before renewal. As my tier was expiring in Feb.

Hyatt just extended my globalist status for a year to Feb 22, and extended usage of awards that expire in 2020 to Dec 31, 2021.

well done 👍

Any sense of how much lower the dollar spend threshold for DMP will be? Surely it must be down 20-30% at least? Maybe I will finally get the nod!

I am at just over 2000 points 8 months into my year and have seen no miles credited. Do they not bother for people already over 1800 points?

The 10 relief CP for Green helped my gf big time after all. She was at 260 with her account set to expire on Feb 29, 2020. She received 10 CPs on Feb 27 and the system swept and bumped her up to SL on Feb 28 at 270.

Hmm... so we get another anecdote that CX will auto uptier if the current is -10 percent from the threshold.

GO now and sitting on 350 with membership expiring in May.

By this, it would mean that I will be 480 by March end. Add 45 for my upcoming flight in March. This will put me at 525 by end March. If I add the April CPR points, it will put me at 580 without flying, but I do have flights in Apr and May.

When do the sweeps happen and when do they send the points into your account. Need to strategize to minimize the point loss on renewal.

My partner is a lowly Green, and our friend who is Silver both were due to have their memberships expire on 29 Feb due to the lack of Club Points (my partner had 0 club points, our friend had 60). Both of them were renewed for their respective tiers until 28 Feb 2021.

Looks like CX is:
1) Giving everyone points relief
2) Renewing everyone even if the gap is big
3) Upgrading people even if a bit short of points

I do not quite get why renewing Silver if only 60 points were earned in the past 12 months?

Just to encourage more people to travel for the coming year... felt sorry for members who had their membership level downgraded early in Dec or Nov
