My friend flying CX this morning told me (and rightlydelighted) that she was invited to the Wing F lounge instead even she was flying Econ on OWS.

With 4% capacity, makes perfect sense to keep a smaller F open as opposed to Wing J and have DM/OWE's complaining.

Only Wing F open, all eligible enter CX J can enter Wing F instead.
Not sure if this applies to ow Sapphire/ow J class

Really? As MPC Gold, I haven't been to the Wing F (or any OW F lounge for that matter) yet. Maybe it's time to book a flight with CX

Side note - the usual longhaul flights with F cabin before (namely LAX and LHR) have both switched to A350 for the month of April and May. So there will be no real F pax at all during these months. One less reason to have any sort of on-the-ground differentiation amid the current plummeted demand.

The last time I went through the Wing F in early March.. the food offering was barely J standard... I'm guessing if they closed J, the food in F will probably be just packaged dry biscuits or something...

I feel sorry if all the lounge staff have lost their jobs.

I was last in Wing F on March 24... the buffet has been severely trimmed down and wrapped in cling film, but dine on demand in the restaurant was still available.

It appears that The Wing J is open again according to the CX Covid information centre.

I think, that's a wise announcement vs. the factual costs of low usage. It shows to their customers CX does have "confidence" in a restart of their services.

Can anyone comment what the lounge experience, amenities, food/drink is like these days?
