ExpertFlyer now showing CX Award Availability?
Just noticed this on ExpertFlyer while looking up some flights. I guess they are starting to show CX Award availability? Shows Z1 for F award U for J award but no number after it P is new? Business priority award maybe? T9 for PEY award X9 for Y award F3 A3 Z1 J9 C9 D9 I9 U P9 W9 R9 E9 T9 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 V9 G9 S9 N9 Q9 O9 X9 |
Saw that too- did the Z1 correlate to award availability on Asiamiles/other programs? the ones that I saw had Z0 (vs no number after the U).. |

I hope this is correct. It will beat the heck out of checking with BA or Jl.

May I ask how you accessed that inventory? In Awards & Upgrades, CX isn't an option in the drop-down menu of all the airlines from which one can choose.
One can go into a Flight Availability search and specifically look for Z or U, but the BA site seems to be easier than doing it this way. |

Just tried ef flight availability on cx for z and u inventory iad/hkg. I t shows u with no number. Checked Ba for the same date(7/26/2020) and shows 4 business available. Don't know if that's accurate as BA often shows shadow inventory?

This is interesting to me for booking some CX awards from AS in the future. I searched a couple days around Xmas on EF: there are several Z1 seats on several LAX-HKG flights, but nothing shows up on QF or BA. I even tried a few married segments to see if it might pop up, but couldn't make any F seats appear. I don't have a CX acct, so if someone could also check that side it might help our DPs.

I'm looking at 1 Oct CX198 On AM it's U6 T2 X6 (I did trial and error) On BAEC it's U0 T0 X0 On EF it's P0 T2 X0 Is EF U/P/T/X data meant to represent anything? |
