Unfortunately AS only has a US POS.
However with AA, if you live in Canada, UK or a bunch of other countries where they have a POS, this may be possible. By default they use the US POS when calling their US 1-800 number. You need to remind them to switch to the Canadian POS if your account is registered in Canada. Just tell them before the booking is started that you want to pay for the taxes in CAD.

@ernestnywang The dump from Sabre looks like it shows U availability, as in U4 or U1. Is this new? I want to alert my agent so she can tell me instantly if U award is available.
Also, what the heck is P fare class, has anyone figured out yet? Is this J class award inventory?

Just checked on my HKG-MXP flight in Oct. F6 A6 Z1 currently shown on EF but when I logined and checked on CX site, First class awards (both standard and choice awards) were shown as waitlisted. So I am not sure if EF actually reflects the actual award inventory available.

Classes, Z, U and P even if showing availability cannot be booked and is coming back as "UC" or "Uncomfirmable"
It looks like this is probably the work of a disgruntled employee at CX who somehow "unsecured" viewership of those inventory classes that are meant to be hidden.

AA uses Sabre and so does Expert Flyer.
Someone at CX must have forgotten to restrict viewership to only certain Pseudo City Codes (those used by AA internally) resulting in all Sabre users being able to view.

I've noticed some ExpertFlyer functions/URLs have references to Galileo in them. For example, querying the Booking Class Table in fare information results loads a URL called "bookingClassResults.do?galileoLineNumber=..."

True, but I guess there aren’t many people out there who know the ways to check like us. Further, sometimes it’s not about availability but knowing the availability to facilitate trip planning.
