How to compare CX & NZ Y product on the AKL route
 
Hi all,

Any idea how the economy product compares between CX A359 and NZ 772? Looking at the return flight from AKL, NZ's redeye seems to be better schedule-wise, just not sure how the product compares with CX A359...

NZs 777 are 10 abreast so the seats are narrower than CXs A350. But NZ service and food are very good.

I don't think the hard product differs much when you are in Y. The IES are quite similar. I'd still choose CX if it's the same price, but if NZ is cheaper, go for it. The food is way better, that's for sure!

10 abreast against 9 abreast makes this for CX. However lounge / mileage can be factor too..Do you have possibility to book exit row? Lot's of things to consider...
