I was looking in ExpertFlyer and on Cathay's site and cannot see any B/C fares but their seat maps seem to show 2X2 seating in rows 10 and 11 on flights which can be booked, but no J/C/D/I fare bases.

Are they PE seats? Not that I could find those either.

Cathay Dragon doesn't sell business class on HKG-CRK flights, depending on your status you may select seats in the Business class cabin. However, the service on those flights will still be Economy Class.

OW status or Marco Polo? I can select preferred seats on CX flights now on TPAC flights. If not I'd have to book to Manila in J and I'd rather the smaller airport.

Alternatively does anyone fly J to CRK from either BKK or HKG?

Normally it's Marco Polo but they do extend to OW Emerald members. It's only a 1hr 30-minute flight, if you are really going somewhere near CRK, it might be a lot better to just fly and request for an exit row than flying Business to Manila and driving to Pampanga.

What FlyPointyEnd says. It's really not worth going to NAIA rather tha CRK just to get business class service for 90 minutes if your destination is north of Manila.

QR, EK and OZ have J service to CRK.

Even without status, those J seats can be requested upon checkin in CRK.

I’d rather fly from CRK, even if with connection, that flying direct from MNL. I live closer to CRK than MNL, by the way.

To anywhere CX flies to, or QR.

If you’re based in HK, unless you’re going somewhere near CRK, then you don’t have to give a care about CRK.

If you're in HKG, then I'm afraid only KA and 5J flies to CRK, both of whom do not offer business class.

As I said, if your intended destination is North of Manila, it doesn't make sense flying down to MNL just to drive back up north...the traffic alone would make up for the 90-minute flight in coach.

I'll ask my TA to try a dummy booking with seats. I fly to HKG and BKK and the blocked seats I see on EF have always been available to book.

I'd be doing YYZ BKK HKG CRK HKG YYZ so QR would be a detour.
