Let's see when CX will hire undercover to observe and report these...

i believe thats the SOP for spoiled drinks (i will not want to drink cheap wine that is opened for over 3 hours). The white tank seems to be a device provided by CX for this purpose

some MIGHT want fo take home FC spirits but thats none of my business. i probably dont want opened bpttles of FC wines either

Empty bottles left to be counted.
CX will score own goal yet again.
People are your business. - Fu*k wit them, they will hit back twice as hard.

Sheesh - angry much?
CX isn't the only airline in the world discarding open bottles of wines & spirits

Those are opened bottles which should not be served on the next flight. I believe even coffee are discarded the same way.

Oh yes! Coffee should be discarded after sitting around for more than 10-20 mins.
I wouldn't want stale coffee on my flight ;)

Had a friend who worked for a major European airline back in the 80s. He had to check out why there was never enough champagne on the flights leaving from X hub. The people loading the craft blamed it on the crews ("we loaded it mate"); the crews blamed it on the loaders ("it's not all on the plane"). Turned out that the loaders took a share before loading and the crews took a share after it had been loaded. He reported this back to head office, but not before bundled a couple of cases of champagne and loads of miniatures into the boot of his car.

It's not just CX. It's everywhere and for a looooong time.

I believe spirits are just sealed in the cart. I normally visit the galley to thank the crew at the 20 minute mark (around the same time as the "Prepare the cabin for landing" announcement) and normally see them locking up the carts with spirits, of course I couldn't tell if they were opened or not, but from what I recall I've only seen wines poured out prior to landing.
