15 Hours in HKG Airport (NOT Going to City) - What to Do
Hi
I'm transiting thru HKG in Cathy Business Class as a Oneworld Emerald and have 15 hrs Transit (9 AM to 1 AM). I'm not planning to pass through Immigration due to visa issues.
welcome suggestions on what to do for 15 hours in HKG Airport.
Thanks.

welcome to the forum. The first thing I recommend you do around here is search! Because I presume embedded somewhere in this question is "which lounge should I visit" or "what should I do in the lounges" or something to that extent?
It's hard on mobile device but perhaps someone can put some convenient threads in. Or, just type in "best lounge" into advance search, or "lounge" or "long transit" or something to that extent. There should be 20+ threads that pop up.
You'll have access to 7 OW lounges: The Deck (J), The Wing (J), The Wing (F), The Bridge, The Pier (J), The Pier (F) and the Qantas lounge (J). You can also try searching for these specific lounge names.

Well, you will have a chance at an experience many of us locals never get, simply because we don't have enough time to wait out the 2+ hours line. But you will!
- Get a Cabana at Wing F. It is essentially a hotel style bathroom with a shower and bathtub.
- Free Massage and day room at Pier F. They apparently have small day rooms there as well.

man. i don't envy you.
fun as it is to lounge hop, 15 hours is really too much.
only so much food and drink you can consume.
i would choose to decamp at the Wing F cabanas possibly - but don't even think there is anywhere nice to sleep in there

I saw the Aerotel is now open. Looks like they don't have beds, just resting lounges and shower in a private cabin. If you have access to the Pier F, Pier day suites is probably a better option.

What's is the "The Retreat" -" 8 day suites with an apron view" at Pier F? Just saw that on CX website but link doesn't go anywhere. Can't recall reading about those before, has anyone used those?
Edit: Overlapped with previous posts. But really not much use if 2 hour limit...

ha perfect timing. My last time in Pier F to be precise: mid September. All fully occupied. Roughly 3pm on a weekday. Waiting list and they were enforcing 2 hour limit. (or so they claimed). I was just taking through a guest who hadn't been in the F lounge before, and only wanted to show. Not possible that time.
Agree in past I hadn't seen wait. But regardless, the last thing useful to anyone is to have people camped out in there all day and nobody else can use them. I'm definitely pleased there's a time limit. Although in practice, if the day isn't busy they might not enforce.

even so he could get out for 7 days!
think the OP may be on a Sri Lankan passport (edit probably not too as Sri Lankan passport holders need to apply for a transit visa too).
Only 1 flight coming in ~9am. Then maybe connecting to the European / US flights that leave at night.
