Op up to KIX on Friday night. Strangly enough, cash fares weren't that expensive immediately before the flight so I think there must have been a ton of stand-by/staff travel tickets.

Good to know. I may be flying to BKK during CNY in Feb, will be peak season then.

It used to be that CX had a really good (subS$700) business class deal SIN-BKK and it was really well travelled.

AA Emerald. 2/6 on CX op-ups this month, both (including the flight I just got off of) were HKG-SFO from Y+ to J. Incredible crew on this last flight made for an awesome experience and I slept great in the J seats. A few trips in the back always make one appreciate the premium cabin, especially an op-up, even more! Thanks CX!
