Can anyone confirm if KQU which has recently been converted 77A has Wifi? Recent JP indicates the old livery but no antenna.

Flew on B-KPA today HKG-JFK (CX 840). Wi-Fi worked great throughout the flight - anecdotally it felt more reliable / fast than the 6 or so times I've flown on the A350. Felt lucky to get KPA since it's one of the only (at the time of writing) two in 77H configuration to have WiFi, according to the FT fleet info page. Was in F and had the new IFE system as well.

yea, the CX 777s use a different provider, and IME it is really good.

The A350s were already "good", but the 777 WiFi is "excellent". I can't say I fly every carrier in the world that often, but at least for international flights the CX 777s are the best I've ever had I think. Definitely better than the other carriers I normally fly around the world.

Kudos to CX on the wifi all around.

(Question to those on this board: are the A350-1000s using the 777 wifi provider, or same as the A350-900?)

Happy to hear WiFi and new IFE showing up on some of the JFK planes. I was on JFK-HKG CX841 Mar 1 in J, no WIFI and old IFE. Don't know the tail number.

We had the google wifi. It was outstanding. Fast and stable the entire flight.

B-KQN Mar 5 CX138, it's still 77G, Wi-Fi was not advertised, no instruction card, and I haven't tried either.

Unlike last trip I was lucky to have a Wifi equipped plane on CX879 on the 15th of February from SFO and got B-KQF.

Most of the 77K have Wifi except for KPY, KPZ, KQB, and KQX.
Feb 28 CX 870 HKG SFO

no WiFi, sadly.

Google Wifi? I'm starting to wonder if the planes without the antenna (configured 10-across in Y) have Google Wifi rather than the Gogo Wifi, like B-KPO for example.

Sorry, typo, it was gogo.

Best airborne wifi I've ever used. The 2Ku CX gets is very different from relatively slow gogo wifi on domestic US flights.

B-KPGangsta still has the old IFE and no WiFi as of 3/3. Is this one of the upcoming retirees?

B-KPU has no wifi, flown Mar 2019.
B-KPQ has wifi (fast - 2Ku?), flown Feb 2019.

Doesn't seem like there's a wiki, so I'll make one.

I don't remember about the brand "shown" for the Wi-Fi on an A350-1000, though the payment statement says:

PANASONIC CATHAY PACIFI LAKE FOREST

From just north of Copenhagen all the way to roughly Moscow, the A350-1000 Wi-Fi is out of satellite reach
Then it starts to become on/off and from half-way Moscow - Ufa on, it is stable again.

Speed OK, sufficient to go browsing, do email and even upload photo's.

I did not hit the traffic limit.

Although the promotion says, you can buy the 24 hours subscription for USD 19.95, it was offered but it was not possible to purchase that one on my flight, so I did go for the "all flight" option of USD 12.95 (And did suffer from "lack of Internet" during my CX connecting flight).

You got KQX that day and I flew it on CX879 back in November and that frame did not have Wifi.

You were on KPE then, and pics show not just the new livery but the Wifi dome is positioned the same way as the 77K so it was obvious you got gogo. I agree though that gogo wifi was really good on my CX flights (870 when I got KQE in December and 879 when I got KQF last month)
