June 7- LAX to HKG-CX883 - Did have wifi. I was able to connect. I didn't actually purchase to use though. (Couldn't get the tail number.)

Yea, I'm certain it's possible on the A350. However, I'm not 100% sure you can do it on the 777.
I have a recollection from a recent 777 flight where it wasn't possible. Could be the case I'm just mixing carriers up, but it's worth waiting for the 777 confirmation I think. Fwiw they use two different providers and the service on the 777 is drastically faster (although the A350 is still quite good).
