Unblock other fare classes in KA A320 flight

Hi all

My agent checked KA's flight using for A320 as aircraft and only J class was offered. I checked at EF, only one seat is occuiped and no seat is blocked.
There is 1 J class left but CDI class is 0.

If I'm going to travel on a weekday in Mid-December (let's say 12th or 13th), are there any chances for releasing other classes ticket (CDI)?

Thank you

Edit:
CAN-HKG-TPE/NRT (still going on discussion where I need to go)
The fact is I am only able to take KA789

If EF reports J1 C0 D0 I0, how can you conclude "only one seat is occupied"?

Please be specific what's your route (e.g. ex-HKG to PEK only offers J, so don't dream about that) and Y class loading (could be Y0 B0... already and it's already overbooked, thus CDI all 0)

Of course if it's the latter case KA may suddenly swap in a 321 to offer more J seats but even under such situation unlikely they will release CDI class out

Well, while we Stockholm-syndrome HK resident passengers get socked with sky high cancellations, KA's obviously letting some other (non-resident probably) TAs book and cancel for free.

All ex-HKG flights going to China only have full fare J class for selling, KA only sells C/D/I class to other Asian destinations like Okinawa or Pukhet.
For A320 there is only 8 J class seat so be prepared you may result in sold out if you try to wait for the release of lower fare class seat.

Fly ex-TPE/BKK/CMB or what not. MNL anyone?
Just because they sell you one thing doesn't mean that's the only thing you may buy I suppose. I'd thought FlyerTalkers are more dynamic.

People who work here are subject to facetime requirements.

Or parents of kids in local schools whose commitment to their studies are "questioned" when their parents return them to school late.

Not even sure where the OP is flying it is difficult to suggest further. It is not quite sensible if OP is just flying to HAK or XMN via ex-TPE/BKK(and really, ex-CMB?).

I used to be
I suppose you're not in the parts of GZ that's close enough to bus to HK like Panyu right?

I thought maybe you can go via a gateway like MU/PVG or CA/PEK but is that really feasible financially on PRC public holidays?

Now it seems to be J0C0D0I0 on 12-13Dec for KA789...
CANTPE or CANTYO does have a I/D/C fare, you can book CANHKG in Y if you do not concern the 5-10CP.

I asked CX's hotline and they said they can only do a separate booking for CAN-HKG rt in Y and HKG-TPE rt
The price is canhkg (2xxx CNY) + hkgtpe (2xxx HKD) in econ (cannot remember the exact price) which is more than a CAN-HKG-TPE rt (38xx CNY) in business save

this is why i'm struggling.

Dongguan not that close to CAN/SZX, I sticked to ow so CX is my option. Both CZ/ZH didn't provide a good timing for tpe nor tyo
For TYO, my ideal option is 789+524.
The worse thing is KA usually operate 789 in 320 if they swipe to 321 there will be no question.
Hopefully they can get A21N real quick so they can replace both 320 and 321

Now, I'm doing a waitlist in I class for the flight KA789
