Any deals from ex-USA to anywhere in Asia? What's the typical sweetspot?

From aircraft aspect. I prefer a little bit PE on A350 than B77W: daily 2-77W and 1-35k/359 ex SFO vs exLAX 3-B77W.
And it would be better if BKK is added as a transfer for club points earning.

Sorry, I'm confused. LAX doesn't have CX A350s operating that route?

How would you add BKK to LAX-SIN?

TIA!

Despite current situation, CX operates 3 daily 77W between LAX and HKG,
and 2xA359+1x77w daily beween SFO and HKG.

A transit at BKK could be added between HKG and SIN, that would be SFO/LAX-HKG-BKK-SIN.
Even you could take the same flight number as long as the connection time is legit.

I'm a total newbie at this. So if a transit can be added to BKK with CX, does that mean CX have flights to SIN originating from BKK?

Yes. CX operated SIN-BKK-HKG before COVID-19 breakout.

Just make sure it is actually ticketed as 2 flights (using 2 coupons) if the purpose is to earn more club points and miles.

How does one endure that is the case on the e-ticket? I think one doesn't want to learn it the hard way.

How does one even book that ticket? I found the fare with ITA Matrix, but every OTA that I've tried can't book it. I'm looking at dates in January 2021.

If the e-ticket lists it as 2 segments, then it would be counted as 2 segments.

Find a real TA or call CX.

Or use CX.com multi-city. You can try something like SFO-BKK,BKK-SIN,SIN-BKK,BKK-SFO.

Find a real TA or call CX.
Calling CX is probably cheaper and faster than using a TA?
