Asia miles earning changes leaked?

Did anyone notice the Asia mile earning changed?

Now under my booking it shows

Route Fare class Asia Miles
HKG CDG M 5600
LHR HKG M 5600
HKG KUL H 1650
KUL HKG M 1500
HKG TPE M 900
HKG XMN M 900
HKG XMN S 300
Anyone knows when did this happen?Edit: Well and while I tried to make a dummy booking it still shows as old numbers...

Looks like zone based earning a la Qantas. Not surprising since apparently a lot of ex-qantas people are at CX loyalty now.

Cheap economy to earn at 33% of full zone. So they can sell this as an improvement in earning ....which means there’s going to be an increase in burning.

Showing this on system without notice (probably prior to formal implementation) seems to be another IT disaster......

Seems like I gain ~2000 miles from this change (SYD->HKG->MAD->HKG->SYD)

So assuming that HKG-CDG and HKG-MAD are in the same earning zone, the bump for booking business class, is about the same as today:

M Class = 5600
I Class = 7200
29% increase due to a Business booking (vs 25% now)

However, it also looks like there's going to be a decrease in miles earned for booking cheaper Business fare classes. The MAD sector currently earns 8159 Asia Miles, but will now earn 7200 Asia Miles.

The SYD sector gets an increase in earning compared to now - maybe because of increased competition on the route.

So if these numbers are correct, expect a very complicated earnings chart.

LHR-HKG E 6593-->6300
HKG-CAN K 84--> 980(!!!)
HKG-CTU I 1049-2500

Appears short haul flights get the largest earning boost

I think the change happened last night at HK Time. A friend said that he saw the changes in number last night but didn't realise it's about the changes in AM.

And if enter using the below link it still works and shows the old number

And cheaper fare classes in the premium classes get the shortest straw.
