Cx lounge in washington dulles airport
Anyone know what CX plans for a lounge in IAD? American doesn't have one.........BA has one but doesn't stay open late enough to serve a 0115 hour flight.
I hope one can have dinner somewhere before boarding this flight since I generally sleep rather than dine at 1 in the morning.

CX uses the BA lounge in ORD, EWR, and BOS. CX also used to use the BA lounge in JFK before moving to T8 and SFO before opening its own. BA lounge at IAD seems to be the most possible choice. Just like EWR and ORD (and probably BOS, too?), CX staff can take over during CX hours and use the space.

The problem is BA lounge @ IAD is practically no difference from UC. (Note - that BA lounge is also a PP lounge.)
So I am not so sure about that...

There aren't many choices at IAD and they are all just ok. BA lounge does double as a PP lounge, but I think PP users have a time limitation for entry. I remember being turned away once using my PP status, and was told PP users can't access it after a certain hours. I have forgotten when.
I don't see any other lounge that Cathay can use except the BA lounge. Cathay personnel (probably just hiring BA personal with Cathay uniforms) will take over at Cathay flight times.

Departure gate will be important. TK & BA lounges are in B concourse whereas the remainder are in A, to include VS & EY. *O flights depart from both A & B.
Interested to see what their solution will be. I'm on this flight mid-October in W - so I think I'll be out of luck!
