Lounge access in HKG ? J ticket but flying PE

we will be flying IAD-HKG and 2 days later HKG-SIN. This is a Alaska Airlines redemption ticket. As J class was not available on our last leg to SIN we agreed flying in PE ( it is just a 3,5 hrs trip - so who cares )
Wonder if we still have lounge access in HKG on day of depature to SIN. Will we have J or PE bagagge allowance from HKG ?
Thanks for your advise

Pretty sure you won’t have lounge access because it is not same day transit. For the luggage, I think if it is the same ticket, then it should follow J luggage allowance which is 32KG x 2

No J class lounge access to SIN. Must be same day. Same ticket irrelevant.

I actually don't think you get the J class tags either but could be mistaken. Sure about the first point re: lounges.

From CX's perspective, you do not have a J ticket from HKG to SIN. AS bought you PE, not J. It will, accordingly, be treated as a PE ticket for all purposes.

On the Cathay app, you can specifically request/ask/check (AI not human interface) your baggage allowance. Might be a good idea to do that. And then take a screenshot of that in case there is any problem.
