I have two HSBC credit cards but when I go to register on the app I can't seem the register with the Visa, it's forcing me to the use the HSBC premier card. Do I need to register them both or does registering for promotions automatically register all my cards?

Register one registers all but your original registration card will be the card the RC is rebated to.

If you are making the transactions anyway then I would say so, yes. Under the current 10% bonus offer you would get 2200 Asia Miles for your $200, or you could pay for $400 worth of transactions. You would need to value AsiaMiles at HK$0.18 (US$0.023) for your AsiaMiles to be better. I believe most people here value AsiaMiles at below US$0.01.

But @percysmith is the guru here on these sort of calculations - I guess he will pass by shortly and offer us his wisdom.

That doesn't affect my earn rate though does it? I.e. if I use my Visa, I'll still earn on that card's rate even though the RC is rebated to my MC.

How often does Citibank run transfer bonuses when converting ThankYou points to AM - and what is the highest bonus that has been offered? I recall seeing 5% and 10% not too long ago.

2 things:

Saw this promotion just now via SMS for CX Amex
https://www.americanexpress.com/hk/e...nus-offer.html

I realise this has been mentioned upstream but another window is opening up tomorrow so I thought I would bump it.

Being Hong Kong of course they over complicate it!

The Offer is available on the following dates (“Promotion Period”):
  • - On October 18, 2018 between 00:00hrs (GMT + 8) and 23:59hrs (GMT+8)
  • - On October 25, 2018 between 00:00hrs (GMT + 8) and 23:59hrs (GMT+8)
  • - On November 1, 2018 between 00:00hrs (GMT + 8) and 23:59hrs (GMT+8)
  • - On November 8, 2018 between 00:00hrs (GMT + 8) and 23:59hrs (GMT+8)
  • - On November 15, 2018 between 00:00hrs (GMT + 8) and 23:59hrs (GMT+8)

Also: I have been given a targeted offer to spend 200k during Q4 of this year. I need to spend 70k before Dec 31 to earn a bonus of 40k AM. I can't think of anything I need at this time - unfortunately already bought 2 iphone XS Max on BEA Flyer World without thinking, no airtickets to buy at this time, can't pay tax with this card, - any thoughts anyone? What are the kids doing these days, Mannings coupons or something? I'm not savvy enough (nor time rich enough) to resell them. All suggestions appreciated.

Uber is not local for HK credit card purposes
Hence, HSBC VS with 6X allocated to overseas

Although let me know if you can change credit cards?
Because I am having difficulty doing so.

Thanks percysmith. I currently have 4 cards listed in my profile, and I have no problems with switching between them.
