The press reader in the lounge only offer limited access to those reading material if u compare to QF which offer similar service to their traveler. (Especially those HK local press)
Also being GO...I m still having message that I only able to access it 48 hrs before flight departure instead of 72 hrs! |

Re: your 72 hour access as MPO Gold -- you should have a full 72 hours, but it starts 48 hours before your flight. If you visit care.pressreader.com there are FAQ available for CX passengers. If you're still having connectivity issues we recommend getting in touch with the CX support team, or you can always contact our PressReader Care team. (@pressreadercare on Twitter.) As for the catalog of titles, our full selection of 7,000+ newspapers and magazines is indeed available in Cathay Pacific lounges and through their app. nm761, glad you're enjoying using PressReader! Cheers :-: |
Theoretically, it would be possible to book a fully refundable ticket, download the content you need, and then refund the ticket?

Next thing to be cut - newspapers

I hate people reading newspapers at the EY seats. They made it very ignoring by extending their hands wide into your area. They always need to read 2 pages at a time. And then when they finish, they just leave the papers on the floor and allow it to slip into your area.
It will get worse with the new 3-4-3 configuration. (Audio) |

Actually few years ago I've already write to suggest CX to offer e-newspaper as part of weight reduction measures in IFE. This can also cut down the DYKWIA complaining that there's no newspaper when that publication runs out on board. p.s. Hi pressreader nice to have an official reply from you. Hopefully you'll add more and more HK local newspaper into your app. Not really fond on reading Because Daily on Because Airways (a local HK gag, please ignore if you don't understand :p) |
