Extra Legroom seats for OWE and compainion
I have had a couple of flight changes to my itinerary so went on line to look for better seats. In the end I rang the CX UK office and was informed that as as a OWE I would be allowed the extra legroom or emergency exit row seat free of charge but my Son who has no status would be charged. The conflicting issue is that I have already managed to book him on 60K without an issue on A350 for an earlier leg.
On other OW airlines I have flown i.e. AA, QR and BA I have been able to book these seats without an issue for myself and companion. So has the agent told me incorrect info or was I lucky in the earlier seat selection? Thanks |
My experience is that if it's booked on one PNR, you should be able to easily assign travel companions on exit row seats too.
Then again I am with MPC, so policy may vary. |
Thanks Ashsong, that is what I thought. Both on the same PNR but online wouldn't let me allocate the seat extra legroom seat for my Son. Not a big deal but just thought I would get as second opinion. I may call again and see what another agent says.

Didn't work for me with companions on same PNR either.

No you can't. Tried that as CX GO and SO who is non-AM/CX and statusless has to pay.
