A350 overhead lockers - no space

(Un) fortunately I've not flown at the back of the bus for a while, but apparently, the last five rows of cx a350 have no overhead storage, and there is an ongoing problem with pax pulling the paneling off thinking it's a stuck locker.

There were signs...and it was taped...I don't understand why people insist on pulling on it.

Do they run out of locker space at the back?

Is it configured like that (no overhead bin) to accommodate crew rest area?

I've heard a lot of complaints from crew about the rest area not being large enough and they can't sleep.

Really seems like a stupid design. They make the passengers angry because there's not enough bin space, and the crew can't sleep either.

I'm not familiar with how airlines order airplanes, how customizable are airplanes? I have heard the crew complain about the Business Class galley on door 1, and how the crew rest is too small...Does Airbus leave it to airlines to customize or are there standard?

Hi OP, is this your photo? the panel looks like it was just taped meaning someone tried to force it open previously and was "repaired" with tape. My question is, did someone try forcing it again even thought it was taped? or did it fall out?
