Flight Listed in Timetable But Unable To Book
Anyone have experience with the situation below?
Last July, I booked DW & DD into an award reservation on BKK-HKG Flight #706 on Jun 16. Unfortunately, I have been unable to book same flight as a revenue ticket; the flight doesn't show up online in the booking engine. Central reservations can see the flight too but are unable to book it either even though they admit it is wide open in economy and business.
This situation has been going on for 2-weeks now. I've never flown CX before, so any insight into their operation and when the flight in question may be released for booking, or outright cancellation, would be appreciated. Thx!

Update
Received a call from Central Reservations that it appears that Flight #706 will at some point be cancelled. Unfortunately, they don't know when and at this time are not able to make any changes to the existing reservation until they actually cancel the flight.
This situation is frustrating because we're just a little more than 120-days out and have flights booked USM-BKK to connect with the Cathay Flight, as well as onward from HKG-DEN. So, I can't book a revenue ticket until I know what flights DW & DD will be protected on once the BKK-HKG flight is cancelled.
