Perhaps I should plan an earlier arrival to BOS to avail myself of the F lounge.
I don't know how that operates. When CX was using BA's lounge in SFO, the lounge was "operated" by CX during those hours. That lounge was a combined lounge with a small F room (nothing to write about and could occasionally be more crowded than the outside J area). I am not familiar with BOS, but are you sure you like to spend more than three hours in BOS just to try out the F lounge?

Ah. The reviews of BA F and J lounge at BOS were from a blogger flying BA F so perhaps the same happens at BOS. When CX takes over, the F service ends.

Indeed. The answer was clear and correct that the OP could use the GF lounge when doing a same day connection, and stated again several posts later http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/27739231-post8.html. I really don't see where the confusion comes from?

No this is not case. I won't go in to all the details here and more information can be found in the lounge access guide on the BAEC board.

Hi there

I can't find an answer or a mention, so believe it's a "no", but can someone confirm that if I am a OWE (Qatar) flying Y inbound on one of those 6am arrival CX flights into LHR, I cannot use the AA arrivals lounge per https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_...dmittance.html

It doesn't say "no", where as it does for the other items are very clear.

Thanks in advance.

AA seems to say no https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/...als-lounge.jsp

When flying on CX you would need to be in J or F.

Flying on British Airways, Cathay Pacific or Qantas?

You can enter the Arrivals Lounge if you flew in First or Business Class to LHR on a same-day, long-haul international flight marketed and operated by Cathay Pacific.

QR uses T4 whereas CX and AA use T3.

I think you misread the question since QR being at T4is not relevant here. The OP mentions QR as that is the program in which they have status. They are arriving on a CX flight though.

See the table under "Marco Polo Club members - Standard benefits". This seems to indicate a DM can access the LHR AA arrivals lounge regardless of cabin if arriving on CX237, CX255 and CX251? They don't appear to have to be in J or F.

Can anyone confirm this?

CX states:
*Arrival lounges: London (American Arrivals Lounge) for Diamond members arriving from CX237, CX255 and CX251 only
https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_...dmittance.html

AA states:
You can enter the Arrivals Lounge if you flew in First or Business Class to LHR on a same-day, long-haul international flight marketed and operated by Cathay Pacific.

I am a CX DM flying CX255 in W on 19 Jan and would love a shower before my roadtrip.

@beach86 yes as a Diamond you will have access to the AA Arrivals lounge. You should receive a lounge invite when you check in at HKG - ask if you don't receive it.
