May need an app update to show.

2nd conversion: 800 MB pts -> 200 AM
Subsequent conversions: 400 MB pts -> 100 AM

Maximum conversion per day: 40,000 MB pts -> 10,000 AM
MB to AM in the app has been possible for some time. In fact you must go thru app to convert now, otherwise it's kiosk.

But not going the other way, to the best of my knowledge.

Yes "All Eligible Transactions made in overseas (excluding Mainland China but including Macau) according to the country codes issued by VISA International, MasterCard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited and China UnionPay."

And you earn online promos too (well, maybe not Uber cos it's autopay not online)

Anyone know if the "EXTENDED WARRANTY BENEFIT" on the City Prestige (via World Mastercard) is valid for iPhones -- i.e. extends the manufacturer's warranty by one year?

This is rather nice... spend the $12,500 on dining that I would be spending anyway during 1 Dec to 15 Feb and get an extra $1000 back (meaning 11.6% overall on a VS set to dining).

I'm going to be largely based in the mainland next year, so seems it would make sense to switch my Red Hot Rewards category from Dining to China spend. But so far my experience with the mainland vendors has been very limited acceptance of foreign credit cards. Hotels are usually fine but many restaurants are not. Does anyone know if foreign cards work for online retail such as taobao or JD.com? I also have not been able to link HK cards to wechat pay or alipay...

Anyone know if TransferWise transfers are treated as purchases or cash advances by HK credit card issuers? In case I incur a cash advance, how do I tell from the statement?

Visa/Mastercard or Unionpay (even if Unionpay, acceptance is way down tho in favour of (PRC) Wechat Pay, and HK-issued Unionpay cards are starting to have connectivity problems).

Only 1 way to find out - try! Last time I checked TW wasn't serving HKG so good to see they are now in the market.
