Mileages and Club Points on Upgraded Tickets
I would like to obtain some enlightenment on upgrade award - I upgraded my upcoming trip between Toronto and Taipei from Premium Economy to Business. However, after they reissue the ticket, the Asia Miles shown on Manage Booking for both Toronto - Hong Kong and Hong Kong - Taipei segments both disappeared. I assume that I will still receive the mileages based on the original Premium Economy fare, is this correct?

Yes, you will still get the mileage and points based on the underlying ticket. It should be automatically posted a day or two after the flight like without the upgrade. If not (it happened to me and my wife about twice several years ago - CX IT), write or call them.
