The other safer alternative I feel is to warehouse PNS Coupon - I think you can (hopefully) get ~96 during CNY.

What is the highest LT value though... AG? Fortress? Broadway? Think for safety, can always sell Manning/Wellcome/ParkNShop @ ~945... but obviously want to target closer to 96 to make it work
Never reached 96 this year for PK...95x only

Broadway 969 for literally a day

Apple >98 for about three weeks late October-mid November. Last year we had the Note7s literally blowing up. This year we've iPhone 8s but they may be coming out in volume later than last year.

PK and Broadway good for HSBC 6X Home and SCB 5% cash rebate promos
Apple for online and general promos but it becomes a capital intensive game around this time period every year.

So Fubon is essentially 5,000 AM for $2,800 + $250 = $3,050 for 5,000 AM

= $0.61 per 1 AM.

Possibly lower if including normal points earn on top of the bonus?

Ah this CNY (Jan) I dumped PNS (for the first time) at 962... thought it was the market price lol... didn't know they fell to ~94.5 around now...

yeah I would like to see how the AAPL GC fare this year... fingers crossed! the wildcard is the HK Apple Store prohibiting returns for apple products, which could dampen demand by traders... we shall see...

That already happened for iPhone 7. It's just being extended to non-iPhone products.

And any charge on Amex for HK$ transactions billed outside HK?

How about the SCB Asia Miles card? In terms of meeting the spend requirement of their current sign up promo.

The offer for Fubon looks pretty good for the low spend.
But the deal seems to be 50K sign-up points after $2,800 spend + 10K bonus for using the "online form". 60K points x 1AM/15points = 4,000AM
(Plus a few hundred for the $2,800 spend, depending on what you spend it on)

How do you get the 5,000AM?

Do either bank charge for transferring the miles to AM? Plan would be to get the bonus miles then close immediately since neither card is worth keeping for the long-term as far as I understand.
