Standard Chartered Asia Miles is available with a 60k bonus vs the standard 40k, here: https://www.sc.com/hk/credit-cards/asiamiles60k/

I suggest that you register for the HK Marathon and jump on this welcome offer instead: https://www.sc.com/hk/run4miles/

No spending requirement (apart from marathon fees) and you don't actually have to attend the run; only submit proof that you are a registrant.

The 60K offer is unattractive after the initial spending to earn the first 18K.

That's a great offer -- unfortunately both my wife and I are currently holding this card so we won't be able to re-apply for a while.

Is it possible to get a Citi welcome offer on more than one type of Citi credit card?

The terms state "The Welcome Offers are only applicable to customers who currently do not hold, have not cancelled and have not held any principal card of Citi Credit Card within the past 12 months from the month of issue of the Eligible Card ("New Customer"). (Except for applicants of Citi Prestige Card)"

Has anyone that already has one card tried and received the welcome offer?

Welcome offer of any card other than Prestige, followed by Prestige welcome offer, in that specific order.

You can only get prestige card plus one other card. Essentially because you pay annual fee on prestige card, you can get welcome offer on one more card.

So the new HSBC Red card now beats CCB Eye for online spending? And, for overseas online spending, possibly also beats the HSBC Premier MC quarterly promotion?

With welcome offer - which extends to existing HSBC cardholders - yes, it is best.

However, after welcome offer is completed:

Quarterly promo gives you 4.4% but min spend of HKD 3000.

BEA VS gives you 4.4% as well but min spend of HKD 4000 (any spending will qualify).

Many thanks. No miles for BEA VS, right? So if miles is the goal HSBC Red now looks like the best option for local online spending (better than CCB Eye or Stan Chart Asiamiles card--even more so if you opt for Avios) and comes close to matching the HSBC Premier MC promo when it comes to overseas online spending (even after the welcome offer is completed).

This enables HSBC to kill off SCB AM now since Red wins for online and VS can be used for dining bonus at 2.78/AM.
