Why presumably those? LAC was painted not long ago so I doubt it.
I was told by a pilot LAI/H/R are the 3 going. I don't know where the idea of 5 comes from. The pilots haven't been informed of that anyway, not that they necessarily would be.
HKG is slot restricted... Not sure why be surprised they're getting rid of a few old planes when they're having 12 delivered in 2017 and 8 in 2018. Breathe...

Yes HKG is so slot restricted- somehow HX keeps managing to find slots while CX sits on it arse....
That is a net gain of 2
SQ has over a 100 aircraft due for delivery

SQ will be replacing their A330 and regional 777 fleets with A350s, their growth plan is nothing major either. They're already retiring older A380s and you can bet 777Xs will replace 77Ws like at CX.
