Asking for a refund. Cancel first?

It seems i'll be unable to travel on my CX tickets later this month. They are economy tickets in booking class V, which, if i understand their website correctly qualifies for a refund with a fee of 100euro. To get this refund, do i cancel first and then fill out the refund form, or should i just fill out the form?

Any idea how long CX takes to process these things?

Just call the CX booking hotline to cancel it. It takes around a month for the credit card refund though.

You can cancel online, and then fill an online credit form to get whatever refund you are entitle to.
