May be "The Gate" or "The Galley".

I know it will have. What I meant is G16 is too small for it to adopt the "new lounge concept" meaningfully.

It's certainly a tiny space and yeah, a Noodle Bar would in itself take up quite some room, so yeah, will be interesting to see what CX comes up with. Would have been good if they'd been successful in getting another much larger space nearby...

Wasn't this lounge the only one that served fishball noodles?

The Noodle Bowl
The Fish Ball Lounge
The Fish Bowl

Or maybe just because it has a good view, The View?

Given that it's so small... I guess it can be called The Room or The Corner...
Maybe because it "bridges" the two "arms" at the end of the terminal?

Yes that's what I think plus it's the name of where the captain on a ship sits.

I was thinking 'The Pavilion' might be more appropriate

Some other suggestions:

The Tip
The Contrial

I like 'The Pavilion', in fact I think CX can save money on marketing research and just pick a name from this thread! (Winner gets lifetime Diamond membership?)

G16 Lounge closed for refit (reopen approx. July 2017)

Just got the following email from CX:

Temporary closure of G16 Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport
To enhance your lounge experience, G16 Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport will undergo renovation and expansion from 5 July 2016 to the second quarter of 2017.

Does anyone know how this lounge is going to be like? Another KA lounge or another CX J lounge?
